Department of Energy Engineering deals with the study and application of energy systems, technologies and policies; covering all types of energy (including renewable such as solar, wind, bioenergy etc. and non-renewable including coal, oil, natural gas etc.) and considering all aspects related to energy production, storage and consumption for sustainable, efficient and innovative Resource development.
The purpose of energy engineering is to develop and design systems, technologies, and solutions that economically facilitate the transformation of world energy systems in order to preemptively address issues such as climate change, energy security, and sustainable development.
