HISTORY
Civil Engineering is one of the most Oldest branches of engineering.
The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2012. with an initial intake of 60 students.
In the academic year 2013–2014, the intake was increased to 120 students.
In 2017, the department started a postgraduate program (M.Tech in Structural Engineering) with an intake of 24 students, following its affiliation with Sharnbasva University, Kalaburagi.
In 2018, the department increased the undergraduate intake to 180 students, following its affiliation with Sharnbasva University, Kalaburagi.
In 2023 the intake of undergraduate was reduced to 120 students.
Currently, the department offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs, with an intake of 120 students for the undergraduate program and 24 students for the postgraduate program.

Regularly conducting the activities like , Fresher's party, Farewell functions, Graduation day.
Civil Dept is authorised for Third party Inspection - Nirmiti Kendra , Kalaburgi Development Authority.
