The course of study is outcome-based education with choice-based credit system to help students to achieve their goal. The department has a total of 10 teaching faculty members with various specializations, out of which 4 are Ph.D holders. Curricula of both undergraduate and postgraduate programs have been designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of AI and Data Science, through a collaboration of academic and industry experts in order to bridge the growing gap between industry and academia.
The Department is equipped with advanced computer laboratories that support both teaching and project work. Students are actively encouraged to engage in creative, technical, and research-oriented activities. The Department provides a wireless (Wi-Fi) network with unlimited internet access for both staff and students.
B.Tech students gain practical experience and knowledge in the areas like machine learning, deep learning, data handling, cybercrime and digital forensics etc. for solving complex problems across various domains. The master’s degree programmes focus on quality research and innovative design in both core and applied areas of deep learning and data analytics
