About

Our library is equipped with spacious reading space for staff & students with ample natural light & ventilation. Library has open access system. Library houses quite a good number of print & electronic resources in the field of architecture & fulfills the teaching, learning & research needs of the users. To make the Students & Staff members aware with the library resources & services Library conducts user orientation program.



Library Facilities at FOA:

  1. Total carpet area - 80sq.m

  2. Seating capacity - 40 no.

  3. Total no. Of books - 1268.

  4. Computer terminals – 2 no.

  5. CCTV – 1no.

  6. Working hr. 9am to 4pm.

  7. Library staff – 1 no.



Details of the various sections in the Library Stack Area:

  1. Books are arranged subject wise, stacked in this section.

  2. All books are manually numbred.



FOA University Membership:

  • University has membership of DELNET, Architecture E-library, NDL& NPTEL ,Shodha Sindu And INFLIBNET .



Digital Library:

  1. For e-learning, separate platform with adequate space and internet connectivity is established for faculty and students.

  2. DELNET And Shodha Sindu - Developing Library Network facility is also provided from the year 2018 with membership Number IM details

  3. Digital library is having 1 computers along printing.

  4. Users can access multimedia literature, which includes E-Books, E-Journals, and Architectural Videos.



Library Rules and Regulations:

  1. Student ID is compulsory for issuing of books.

  2. For each semester 6 to 7 books are issued.

  3. Books are issued for a period of 15 days.

  4. Books to be re- issued if required for more than 15 days.

  5. Separate desktop available for E- journals.

Library Books Collection:

  1. Library is well equipped in print as well as digital resources. Holds the collection of 1268 books including 600 titles, which includes Text, Books, Reference Books, Standards, Council of Architecture published Books.

  2. Periodical section has collection of 15 Journals.

  3. Student’s work Reports are kept in Library for ready reference.

  4. Students are provided with English newspapers.
