Sharnbasva University is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment for all its students. The university has a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and has established a robust Anti-Ragging Committee in accordance with UGC regulations.
The committee works proactively to prevent, monitor, and address any instances of ragging and to create awareness among students about its consequences.
Objectives of the Anti-Ragging Committee
Prevent any form of ragging on campus and in hostels
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students, especially freshers
Conduct awareness programs, counseling sessions, and orientation workshops
Address complaints promptly through a transparent and confidential redressal mechanism
Promote harmony, mutual respect, and healthy peer relationships
Key Measures Implemented
Display of anti-ragging posters and helpline numbers across campus
Mandatory anti-ragging undertakings by students and parents
Round-the-clock monitoring in hostels and common areas
Active student and faculty participation in prevention measures
