About the SC/ST Committee
Sharnbasva University has constituted the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) Committee in accordance with the provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
The Committee is established to prevent discrimination and atrocities against members of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and to address grievances of SC/ST students, teaching faculty, and non-teaching staff. The University is committed to ensuring a safe, inclusive, and equitable academic environment for all stakeholders.
