Sharnbasva University Signs MoU to Establish Agri Innovation Center of Excellence

Sharnbasva University has taken a significant step towards advancing agricultural innovation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kalaburagi District Administration and KrishiKalpa Foundation for the establishment of an Agri Innovation Center of Excellence.

The partnership aims to create a collaborative platform that promotes innovation, research, technology adoption, and sustainable agricultural development. The Center of Excellence will focus on supporting farmers, encouraging agri-startups, facilitating skill development, and promoting modern farming practices through research and technology-driven solutions.

The MoU was officially signed and exchanged by Shri Mohammed Ikramulla Shariff, IAS, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Kalaburagi, and Dr. Lakshmi Patil, Registrar of Sharnbasva University.

This strategic collaboration reflects Sharnbasva University’s commitment to strengthening industry, government, and academic partnerships while contributing to agricultural advancement and rural development. The Agri Innovation Center of Excellence is expected to become a hub for knowledge sharing, innovation, and capacity building, benefiting students, researchers, entrepreneurs, and the farming community alike.
